Does Fireworks Superstore pay for shipping?
Why is shipping so expensive?
Consumer fireworks (7.2.1 classification UN0336) is classified as dangerous goods and requires special shipping and handling. Fireworks Superstore will ship via Purolator to a residential or business address or Purolator hub for FREE on orders over $250.
Am I allowed to transport 7.2.1. (consumer) fireworks in my vehicle?
You can transport 7.2.1. (consumer fireworks, Class 1.4g,) in your licensed vehicle. Up to 75 kg may be transported in a private passenger vehicle. Transport fireworks in a safe and secure area within the vehicle. Fireworks Superstore will pack your order in a cardboard box which is best for transporting and handling. Do not smoke while loading, transporting or unloading fireworks.
How do I track my shipment?
Upon pick up from Purolator, a PIN number will be emailed to you.
Do you ship outside of Canada?
No, only within Canada.

What is the legal age to purchase fireworks in Canada?
18. In order to purchase and discharge 7.2.1 classification (consumer fireworks) in Canada one must be 18 years of age. People under 18 years of age who use fireworks must be supervised by an adult.
Are consumer fireworks dangerous?
Fireworks has no conscience. Read the label. Fireworks Superstore team will demonstrate how to safely set up and execute a display with suggested firing order. When in doubt, give us call or email us, we are happy to answer any questions you may have.
Can I hold a roman candle in my hand?
No. Only sparklers.
Do I need to wear safety glasses?
Yes. It is recommended that safety glasses be worn.
Will I receive additional safety information with my purchase?
Yes. Fireworks Superstore provides additional safety rules for consumer fireworks.
Can fireworks explode without being lit?
No. The only way consumer fireworks becomes live is if the fuse comes into direct contact with a source of ignition. Consumer fireworks do not detonate, they ignite.
What is a rain or make up date?
Alternative date set aside for use if a scheduled event must be postponed due to weather.
STORAGE:
Can I store fireworks in my home?
Canadian federal law permits the storage of 10kg or less of fireworks in a dwelling or a place attached to a dwelling (e.g. a garage) so long as (i) the fireworks are kept in a dry place away from any source of heat any any substance that could cause ignition; and (ii) the fireworks are kept inaccessible to everyone under 18 years of age.
How long do fireworks last?
Fireworks have a good shelf life as long as they are kept dry. For ideal storage, keep your fireworks in a non-humid environment with a consistent temperature and stored in a cardboard box. Do not store fireworks in a sealed plastic bin as these materials prevent air circulation and can cause condensation.

Does Fireworks Superstore offer product guarantee?
Fireworks Superstore has 100% product guarantee. It is rare for fireworks to fail or misfire. In the event a firework misfunctioned, douse with water and set aside. Contact us the next day and bring the defected product with you together with your receipt. Upon inspection a refund or exchange will be issued.
Can I return fireworks I have not used?
No. Canadian Federal Law prohibits the resale of redistribution of fireworks once they have left Fireworks Superstore. This is because the supplier/seller must know for certain and at all times how the fireworks have been handled, stored, and if they have been altered or affected in any way that might present a danger to the end user. It is in the interest of public safety that we are unable to resell or redistribute fireworks. No returns or exchanges are permitted. All sales are final.
